Bill Maloney

The billiard community has suffered a tremendous loss when Bill Maloney passed away.

Born 7/24/39 Died 8/24/09, he was exactly 70 years & 1 month old when he passed shortly after 2AM at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He died of complications from pneumonia during a long time battle with emphysema.

Billy as he was known to those of us that were close to him, was a quiet, mild mannered gentleman of the game. A true gamesman who enjoyed playing billiards, chess, scrabble, golf & loved horse racing.

He was a private person. His wishes were not to have a wake or funeral ceremony but simply be cremated.His longtime friend Amy Hartman will be handling his affairs.
